How to reach us
Phone is the fastest way. A real person answers during business hours and can check availability, discuss your project and lock in a rental date the same day. If you call after hours, leave a message with your name, number and what you need. We'll call back within two hours of opening.
The contact form on this page works 24/7. Fill in your name, phone number, email, the type of equipment and the dates you need it. Describe your project briefly: construction site, event, emergency septic repair or renovation. Cathedral City Porta Pros will respond by phone or email within one business day.
Email works too. Write a detailed description of what you're renting, where the delivery goes and when you need it. Include the number of people on-site if you're calculating how many units you need per OSHA 1926.51(c), and attach site photos or site plans so we can plan the delivery layout. Attachments like site photos or site plans help us plan the delivery layout.
Service areas and delivery
Cathedral City Porta Pros delivers throughout Cathedral City and to nearby towns: Palm Springs 7.1 miles southwest, Rancho Mirage 7.3 miles south, Desert Hot Springs 11.6 miles northwest, La Quinta 22.2 miles southeast and Coachella 23.7 miles southeast. We also serve the entire Coachella Valley region.
A roll-off dumpster needs about 60 feet of straight clearance behind the truck, so let us know if your site has tight access or overhead lines. For portable toilets, confirm that your placement spot is level and accessible. ADA accessible portable toilets need a 60 inch diameter turning circle per ADA Standards section 304.3.1 and a ramp with a slope no steeper than 1:12 per ADA Standards section 405.2, so we'll confirm the spot when you call.
Placement in the public right of way needs confirming with the city before we deliver. We handle the logistics. Many customers ask about overnight parking or weekend access to equipment; call to discuss your schedule and we'll work out the details.

What happens after you contact us
We'll ask basic questions: what equipment, how long, where it goes, how many people, and whether you need service visits during the rental. For construction site services we'll discuss OSHA 1926.51(c) requirements. If you're renting a standard porta potty for under 10 users over a 40 hour week, one service visit per week is the baseline per ANSI/PSAI Z4.3. Heavier use gets more frequent service.
For septic tank pumping, let us know your tank size and household size; residential septic tanks are typically pumped every 3 to 5 years, driven by tank size and household size. If you have a grease trap, we pump it when fats, oils, grease and solids reach 25 percent of the liquid depth.
We'll email or text a quote with a line item for the equipment, service fees if applicable and delivery. You approve the quote, we confirm the delivery date and time, and we show up ready to set up. Same-day emergency rentals are possible; call directly to check availability.

FAQ
Can I rent equipment for just one day?
Yes. Daily porta potty rental costs between 100 and 350 dollars depending on the unit. Weekend rates are higher. Call or use the form to request a one-day rate for any equipment.
Do you service your rentals while they're on site?
It depends on the rental type and duration. Restroom trailers and longer-term standard rentals include scheduled service visits. Single-day rentals don't. We'll spell out what's included in your quote.
What if I need equipment delivered to a tight spot?
Tell us the specifics: narrow driveway, alley access, overhead wires, soft ground. We've worked in tight Cathedral City spaces before. Some sites need a smaller unit or a different access plan. Call to problem-solve.
How do I know if I need an ADA unit?
If one or more people using the restroom have mobility challenges, rent an ADA accessible portable toilet. ADA Standards section 213.2 require at least 5 percent of clustered units to be accessible, and never fewer than one.
Can I extend my rental after it starts?
Absolutely. Call us and we'll extend the rental and adjust your bill. Equipment availability varies by season, so earlier is better, but we do our best to accommodate extensions.
What handwashing facilities do you offer?
We rent handwashing stations with soap and towel dispensers per 29 CFR 1910.141(d)(2). If your crew applies paints, coatings, herbicides or insecticides, OSHA 1926.51(f)(1) requires washing facilities on site. Call to discuss your specific work and we'll recommend the right setup.
